As a former mascot, I can tell you, its extremely hard to track a fast moving object in that mask

Legend has it that Peyton in fact didn’t watch the game after this pass. He pondered this throughout the game and until midnight where he had to call on the mascot to meet up and to review the play.

I have come to admire Peyton as he has aged, even more for how he carries and conducts himself. It's like he's grateful for being gifted enough to do something he really enjoyed and make a great living while doing it.

The fact that he can throw it that far and w that much loft without having room to even take a step forward for thrust is truly impressive. It’s like a catcher throwing from home plate to second base from a double kneeling position.

The crazy part to me was the perfect accuracy even throwing it downwards. Up or down a hill throws it off a good bit too. Making the mascot practice this ahead of time seems like something Peyton would do so I wonder if that’s what happened lol

Peyton's so cool, man. To be okay with signing the ball while having his family out to watch basketball. Then instead of just handing everything back to the mascot like it was an inconvenience, he essentially tells him "go long" and drops a dime on him. One of the greats.
And in the mascot's defense... He probably didn't expect Peyton to be so cool about it, certainly didn't expect the future Hall of Fame'r to tell him to "go on an out route", and can hardly see or feel anything but heat in that costume, so it's cool he didn't catch it lol.
Peyton looking like, "And that's how you lose a Super Bowl" lol

It’s crazy how humble peyton still is. Unlike most celebrities, he didn’t buy front row seats

He has a hefty bag. You don’t go into retirement broke people. Even after retirement from the nfl he’s done other work.

Imagine knowing Peyton Manning, (one of the greats), throwing a once in a lifetime football pass to you, just for you to fumble it.

Jesus Christ that was a perfect pass, pretty deep and it was still effortless for the sheriff 🐐

Great pass! To be fair though, how could a mascot catch anything in that git up?

The amazing thing is Peyton is super rich, can afford whatever he wants yet he's not sitting courtside seeking attention. Instead he's in the stands, dressed like an uncomely average normal person enjoying his family time.! That speaks volumes..!
